The restaurant offers a variety of vegan, vegetarian and even gluten-free choices in a casual, warm and cozy one room space that still has a downtown feel.
We started with the sweet potato chips appetizer with dips of garlic pesto and edamame hummus. And then soon received our Grilled Romaine Caesar Salad (boasting smoked cashew “cheeze”). Nothing short of INCREDIBLE…
Entrees offered include Thai, Indian, American, Mexican and Japanese types of cuisine. So, just pick whatever cultural flair fits your fancy!
I got a dish that included tempeh over grits with veggies…whatever sauce they used on the tempeh was AMAZING!
Tessa got the noodle bowl with teriyaki sauce and peanuts.
Dessert included a dark chocolate truffle “pie” on a gluten-free almond crust, and drizzled with caramel.
Not surprisingly, I find myself salivating anew as I write this post!
One minor tip of advice if you plan to go… We got there at 5:30 (on a Friday night) and were seated right away. By 7:00 pm a significant line of waiting people were there, however! So, I’d say – the earlier you can get there, the better to avoid a wait.
